Concrete shell roofs

The only other example of this type of roof that is thought to exist in the UK is Smithfield Poultry Market in London, although the Smithfield roof is larger and punctuated with circular roof lights. Another example was the Brynmawr Rubber Factory in South Wales (which had nine ‘domes’, also punctuated with roof lights) although that was demolished recently, despite being listed.
