The top floor of North Block (later known as Compass House) contained an Exhibition Centre from the beginning. This contained a museum about Ordnance Survey’s history and included exhibits such as historic surveying instruments and engraving tools as well as information about the contemporary mapping technology.
The Exhibition Centre also contained space for briefings and events.
The Exhibition Centre was superseded by the Business Centre in WRB (Central Block) which was a larger space and had more facilities.
