The upper section contains relays as part of the lift’s relay logic system and at the bottom right are larger contactors – pretty much large versions of relays but for switching higher voltages. Some are part of the safety systems such as relays opening when the doors are open to prevent movement of the lift – the one marked ‘DO’.
