Entrance on the 6th floor by F core to the W407 rooftop plant room, built in the 1970s. There is a water softening tank here. It was originally located on the 7th floor but moved down here to allow for easier restocking as lugging the heavy bags up the stairs was not great for manual handling. Here on the 6th floor, it was right next to the lifts. 24 Sep 2011.
