C016 computer room, 13 Sep 2011. This was intended as a backup to the main computer room (W407) in West Block, with mirrored versions of key systems although was considerably smaller than W407. This took the pressure off W407 slightly as there were power issues as well as a single source of failure with its air conditioning unit (which was resolved in around 2004). C016 and the adjacent PABX room were created from part of the former Repro area by A lift, around the same time as the new Reception area. There was a mezzanine floor, possible by utilising part of the space of one of the defunct vaulted shell roofs.
