Part of E lift’s controller cabinet. This unit controls the lift, for example opening and closing the doors, how to respond to calls and also controls the motor. It is comprised of a complex system of relays – this would now be controlled by electronic means and this type of equipment was virtually obsolete by the time it was installed at Maybush. The section of the controller here is terminals that connect to other equipment, such as door motors, the floor selector and so on.
