Motor starter unit cabinet for chiller no. 2. This started the 3.3 Kv refrigeration chiller compressor motor and had to have a ‘soft starters’ to prevent overheating and damage to the motors. These were the most powerful motors on site. This probably dates from the mid 1990s when the main motors and compressors of these two chillers (no 2 and 3) were replaced.
