An early graphic camera at London Road. The operator is seen at the copy board, which is a vacuum unit, used to hold down the original. It is illuminated both left and right by carbon arc lamps. The camera bellows and camera lens unit is to the right. It was probably used using the wet-plate photographic technique. It could well be a Hunter-Penrose camera.
